December is a month of hustle and bustle. Between buying presents, attending parties, traveling, and managing work and money, there are millions of things going on and very little free time! However, there are also so many fun things to do that make the lack of free time more than worth it. All of the events that take place during this last month of the year are a chance to bond and grow as a family, therefore they are crucial to the holiday experience.
One event that has graced the Fabulous Fox Saint Louis this year, and makes a for a very promising family experience, is the Broadway sensation Wicked! If you or your kiddos have not seen this exciting retelling of a classic story, it’s finally your chance! Tickets are on sale now, and you’re just a click away.
If You Haven’t Seen…
Wicked is an incredibly popular show, and there’s a reason why! The musical paints a more sympathetic picture of a very well-known villain, the Wicked Witch from The Wizard of Oz. Wicked changes the entire view of the character, telling her backstory in a way that makes her a much more rounded character, and shows plenty of insight into why she acts the way she does in The Wizard of Oz.
The show also shows the whole dynamic of the witches in Oz, and throws in some incredible songs and scenes. USA Today even referred to it as “a complete triumph! An original musical that will make you laugh, cry, and think.”
